Private Treaty Sales
The Ava Gallery works on a confidential basis with private and corporate clients who wish to collect or sell work by notable Irish, British and European artists who fall within our period of specialisation.
We can draw upon widespread and long term contacts to find the most suitable work for clients or to place work for our vendors. The gallery has worked with museums in the United Kingdom, Europe and the USA and our expertise is regularly drawn on by galleries and auction houses.
Within the Irish market we have negotiated the acquisition for our clients of notable paintings by Jack Butler Yeats, Walter Osborne, Sir John Lavery, Louis le Brocquy, William Scott and Basil Blackshaw. We particularly specialise in the work of Colin Middleton and Nevill Johnson. Other notable sales include paintings by Edouard Vuillard, Georges Braque, Pierre Bonnard, Walter Sickert and Duncan Grant.
We offer paintings, works on paper and sculpture of quality for collectors at all levels and our location allows clients to visit us with complete privacy and discretion.
